Concrete/Gunite Pools

An often popular building material for many of our customers’ inground swimming pools

includes both gunite and concrete. While both concrete and gunite are very similar building materials, there are varying differences that set them apart.

Concrete is a mix of cement, crushed gravel, as well as water. Whereas gunite is made up of cement, sand, and water. Both materials are sturdy and strong, helping build a pool that will last you for years.

Their real differences boil down to their pliability, with cement being slightly less pliable. On the other hand, gunite is sprayed from a hose, which allows for more intricate designs to be created. Talk to us to find out which of the two materials is best suited for your needs!

Semi-Inground Pools

For those who want a taste of both worlds or simply can’t quite decide on whether they want an inground swimming pool or an above ground one, get ready to welcome in option number three: a semi-inground pool. A semi-inground swimming pool is exactly what you might expect: a swimming pool that’s built to be partially above as well as ingroud, with the majority of the pool lowered into the ground.

A semi-inground pool differs from an above-ground pool, as the majority of above grounds can be bought and assembled in your backyard, and are usually a temporary feature. They can be partially and fully lowered into your yard, but they are not the same as a conventional inground pool.

Fiberglass Pools

An increasingly popular choice amongst homeowners looking to build an inground swimming pool is fiberglass pools. Loved by customers for their low maintenance requirements, fiberglass pools are premade into a single fiberglass shell, which makes the installation process much shorter. Instead of digging up and building your pool, we’ll simply excavate, and lower the shell onto the site.

Vinyl-Lined Pools

A vinyl liner pool is fitted with a custom-made vinyl sheet that serves as the interior surface for your pool and as a barrier between the water and structure of the pool. The vinyl sheet is usually made of PVC, known for its resistant properties, cost-effectiveness, and ample customization options. With vinyl liner pools, we usually build the pool structure out of steel panels or a polymer sheet and then fit the vinyl sheet inside. You’ll be able to customize your vinyl liner pool, and have a color and pattern design that matches your style and preferences!

Small Inground Swimming Pools

The most commonly found pool in backyards, by far, is an inground pool. Made up of gunite, concrete, vinyl, or fiberglass, inground pools are permanently built into your backyard, with the pool walls directly leveled to the ground. The best part: the customization options. From the shape and size, down to the pool features (slides, tanning ledges, waterfalls, built-in spas, etc), inground pools offer a world of customization options, allowing you to truly make your pool, your own.

It is important to keep in mind that since we have to dig and build into the ground, the preparations required for an inground pool are often quite substantial. But don’t worry, with a team full of experienced aquatic professionals, we are equipped with the knowledge to handle it all.
